“L’Approfondimento of Fast News Platform”: new year special for the international, multiplatform editorial format

This weekend’s episode of L’Approfondimento of Fast News Platform is dedicated to New Year. The multiplatform editorial format combines cultural reflection, social analysis, and international dialogue. Born almost by chance, the project has quickly taken a structured form and aims to become a regular weekly appointment.

The New Year special brought together scholars, intellectuals, and representatives from the editorial world from different countries: Spanish professor José Luis Alonso, Italian-Canadian anthropologist Pino Cinquegrana, Cavaliere Rino Rosario Logiacco from Melicucco, and historian Franco Torchia, between Rome and Francavilla. An open, multicultural, and multilingual dialogue, intertwining tradition, current events, and future perspectives.

The format was initiated thanks to the invitation of Pino Cinquegrana and the hospitality of Attilio Carbone on WGBB Radio, the historic U.S. broadcaster transmitting on FM and AM from Long Island. With the technical support of Bryan Graves, the project adopted from the start a multiplatform distribution: live broadcast on Facebook, linear transmission on www.fastnewsplatform.uk – platform customized by Gianluca Iannotta, operating from London starting in 2026 – and on-demand availability on YouTube.

The project also involved several Italian television and radio outlets, including PianaTV and Telitalia Produzioni Televisive, thanks to publisher Michele Cavallaro and Editor-in-Chief Giorgio Rovere, who helped integrate the format into their programming, as well as Radio Onda Verde 98 MHz, with director Pino Scianó, publisher Piero Muscari, and technician Antonio Guerini.

L’Approfondimento of Fast News Platform presents itself as an inclusive, participatory, and open space for dialogue, focused on merit and the exchange of ideas, with the goal of serving the community. The New Year special marks the beginning of a path looking toward 2026 as a year of growth and consolidation for an increasingly international editorial network.
