On World AIDS Day, London Mayor Sadiq Khan highlighted the progress the city has made in the fight against HIV, calling for reflection and remembrance of those affected by the disease.
“However, the work does not stop here,” Khan said. “We are committed to ending new HIV transmissions by 2030 and challenging stigma wherever it occurs”.
The mayor reaffirmed the capital’s dedication to prevention, education, and support for people living with HIV, aiming for a more inclusive and aware city.
